Rotterdam, Netherlands

Twenty-plus years
in streaming, broadcast
and digital production.

I'm Jose Saiote. Broadcast engineer, technical director, founder of Streamline Media. I've streamed EU sessions from the European Council in Brussels, built DJ platforms, covered extreme sports across Europe, and now I'm building AI. This is where I keep my work.

I'm Jose Saiote — broadcast engineer and technical director based in Rotterdam. I've been working in professional audio and video production for over 20 years, building and running streaming infrastructure for everything from EU press conferences to jazz concerts, extreme sports events, and DJ nights.

I started in Lisbon in 2001, when I opened Grooveline Records in Baixa-Chiado. The shop had a studio inside and we streamed live DJ sets from it — which was unusual at the time. That turned into Streamline Media, and the streaming work grew from there into corporate webcasts, live events, and eventually five years engineering webcasts for the European Council in Brussels.

I'm a member of the European Press Federation. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. I hold certifications in Crestron, Extron and AWS. I studied Recording Arts at Middlesex University and Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.

These days I split time between Streamline, building Grooveline as a proper streaming platform, and exploring AI through Nexline — particularly local voice assistants and edge inference. I like understanding the full stack, from the microphone to the server to the screen.
